Removing a Family Member from Amazon Household
Here’s how to remove a family member from your Amazon Household:
- Open a web browser and go to the Amazon website.
- Sign in to your Amazon account.
- Go to the “Manage Your Household” page.
- Under the list of adult avatars, locate the name of the family member you want to remove.
- Click on the “Remove” button located below their name.
- Confirm that you want to remove the family member by clicking on the “Yes, Remove” button.
When you remove someone from your Amazon Prime account, only the main member keeps the Prime perks. The person removed loses access to the Family Library’s shared content, and both can’t join another Amazon Household for 6 months.
Removing an Alexa Profile
Here’s how to remove an Alexa profile:
- Go to the “Manage your Profiles” page.
- Sign into your Amazon account if prompted.
- Locate the profile that you want to remove.
- Click on the profile to open its details.
